As part of the 2022 Wild in Art ‘Giraffe About Town’ sculpture trail, a herd of over 40 magnificent giraffe sculptures took over Scotland’s capital creating a trail that highlighted hidden gems from Edinburgh Zoo to Leith.
Bigg Design’s sculpture was located at the beautiful harbour at Newhaven before all the sculptures were reunited at Edinburgh Zoo ahead of an exciting auction. As one of the top selling sculptures, ‘Daz’ raised £10,000 and collectively the GAT sculptures raised an amazing £246,000 for the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s wildlife conservation - “enough to save a species!”.
