A new art and landscape installation serves as an uplifting gateway to the neighbourhood on one of the major routes into Aberdeen city centre. Featuring a series of sculptural columns that reflect key elements of Woodside’s proud heritage and natural surroundings - the intricate metal sculptures and colourful decorated timber posts combine with bespoke concrete seating, and a sea-to-shore themed paving and native planting design that represents the surrounding landscape. The mini-park serves to create a welcoming sense of arrival, whilst providing a place to connect with others in the community - an inspiring beacon to reflect its proud past and hopeful future.
